Linesia server rules

Please read all of the rules below carefully.
Any player who connects to our server is considered to have read and accepted these rules.
If they are not respected, sanctions may be applied.

These rules may be changed at any time. Please check them regularly.

General principles

Spelling and respect

  • Everyone who writes in the server's chats must pay at least some attention to their spelling, so that conversations stay clear and respectful.
  • Conditions such as dyslexia, dysorthographia, etc. are not punished.

Account responsibility

  • Each player is solely responsible for how their account is used.
  • Whatever happens (lending, theft, use by a relative…), you bear the consequences.
  • The staff will not be able to step in or cancel a sanction.
  • An account is personal: never lend it.

Abusive staff

  • If a staff member is insulting, vulgar, violent or abuses their powers, contact the administration right away through an administration ticket.

Behaviour

  • This list is not exhaustive.
  • You can be sanctioned for a reason that is not in these rules.
  • Any behaviour considered inappropriate or against the rules may lead to a sanction.

1. In-game chat / Discord

Flood

  • Repeatedly sending meaningless characters or overusing punctuation.
  • Example: "Heyyyyyyy"

Sanction: 15-minute mute.

Spam

  • Sending the same message three times or more in a short time.

Sanction: 15-minute mute.

Capital letters

  • Messages written entirely in capitals, repeated more than twice.

Sanction: 15-minute mute.

Advertising

  • All advertising is forbidden, unless authorised with the Influencer rank.

Sanction: 30-minute mute.

Provocation

  • Messages meant to put down one or more players.

Sanction: 30-minute mute.

Insults

  • Insulting a player or a staff member.

Sanction: 1-hour mute.

Mute evasion

  • Using /msg to get around your mute is forbidden.

Sanction: 12-hour ban.

2. In game

DOX and DDOS

  • Threats or attempts of DDoS, or sharing personal information, will be sanctioned.
  • Sharing personal information will be sanctioned whether the information shared publicly is true or not.
  • If a DDoS happened in the middle of a fight, you must provide a recorded call with your internet provider confirming that your connection was "attacked" at that moment, or connection graphs. Concrete proof is therefore required for a refund and a ban.

Sanction: 365-day ban.

Bug exploitation

  • Using a bug without reporting it to the staff team will be sanctioned depending on the bug used.

Sanction:

  • Minor bug: temporary ban (days/weeks).
  • Major bug (significant advantage): permanent ban / blacklist.

Incitement / Serious language

  • Incitement to suicide, r*pe, death, incitement to hatred, antisemitism, racism, fatphobia, etc.: all discrimination and serious remarks will be sanctioned.

Sanction: 12-hour ban.

Selling/buying gear for real money

  • Trading in-game items for real money, or for items on another server (cross-server trading).

Sanction: 90-day ban.

Alt accounts

  • Using an alt account is only allowed for AFK farming.
  • Alt accounts are forbidden for: getting around a ban, freekills, betrayal, duplicating rewards.

Sanction: 999-day ban.

Mouse modifications

  • Setting your mouse DebounceTime below 8 ms is not allowed: you need at least 8 ms to play.
  • Installing macros, FireKey, etc. is not allowed (anything that changes your CPS).
  • Controller-mouse is not allowed: playing with keyboard and mouse while attacking with both the mouse and a controller at the same time.
  • AutoClickers are not allowed. If you open one for another application (example: Roblox), you must restart your computer before connecting to the server again.

Cheats and cheating

  • Any form of cheating, such as software or advantageous packs (hitbox through walls).

Sanction: 60-day ban. Can be reduced to 30 days if you confess before the check.

Mob AutoClick

  • Using an AutoClicker on mobs is not allowed.

Sanction: 5-day ban + removal of the gains.

Complicity in cheating

  • Helping a player who cheats, or saying nothing to the staff team after playing with that player.

Sanction: 30-day ban.

Promoting cheats

Sanction: 30-day ban.

Connection crash

  • Deliberately slowing down your connection to gain an advantage in a fight.

Sanction: 15-day ban + return of the gear.

Betrayal

  • Stealing items from a player or a faction without permission.
  • Before kicking a member of your faction who is online, you must warn them, wherever they are. The same applies if you want to leave your faction.

Sanction: ban of 5 to 15 days depending on how serious it is.

AFK mining / fishing / mobs

  • Staying AFK without watching your screen is forbidden: you must answer in the chat if a staff member calls you.

Sanction: 5-day ban.

Scams

  • Scams are now allowed. You still have /trade to protect yourself. Scams will only be sanctioned during an AP trade, armour crafts, gem transfers and ranks.

Sanction: 5-day ban.

Use bug

  • Exploiting bugs (fence gates, bedrock, out of map, blocks, etc.).

Sanction: 2-day ban + return of the items.

Hosting

  • Deliberately keeping a player in combat with no intention of killing them.
  • If the opposing player can come and attack you without using an ender pearl, it is not hosting.

Sanction: 3-day ban + return of the items if players were killed.

Inappropriate skin

  • Shocking skins, or skins that give an advantage in PvP, are forbidden.

Sanction: kick the first time, then a 2-day ban if repeated.

Item renaming

  • Renaming an item with insults, provocation or shocking content is forbidden.

Sanction: removal of the item + ban of 1 to 5 days depending on how serious the name is.

Lying to staff

  • Lying to a staff member, whatever the context and place, will be sanctioned, with proof from the staff member(s) involved.

Sanction: 2-day ban.

Fake giveaway

  • Organising fake giveaways is forbidden.

Sanction: 2-day ban.

1v1 rule

  • Not respecting a clear 1v1 agreement is sanctioned.
  • You must state each condition in the chat, one by one, for it to be valid.

Sanction: 1-day ban.

3. Checks

Enabled services

  • Checks can be done with scans. The scans we use are Echo and Océan. If a checker or a staff member asks you to run one of these scans, you must do it, unless you refuse the check, which will lead to a ban.
  • Your services must not be disabled (exception: SgrmBroker), or you will be banned.
  • List of the main services that must be enabled:
    • Explorer
    • Task Manager
    • Temp
    • Regedit (Registry Editor)
    • SysMain (Prefetch): to turn SysMain back on (it is often disabled for optimisation):
      • Open the Task Manager
      • Go to the Services tab
      • Look for SysMain
      • Right-click on it
      • Select Start

Software and hardware

  • Your mouse or keyboard software must not be changed in any way before the check, or you will be banned.
  • Your mouse debounce time must not be lower than 8 ms.
  • At no time may you get in the way of the check (trolling, disruption, etc.), or you will be banned.
  • Your recycle bin must not be changed or emptied before the check.
  • If the registry was cleaned before the check, it will lead to a ban.
  • If cleaning software (CCleaner, AdwCleaner, etc.) is open before the check, it will lead to a ban.

Refusing a check

  • You have the right to refuse the check, it is not mandatory.
  • However, refusing will lead to a ban.

Suspicious software or modifications

  • If cheating software or any modification giving an advantage has been used, you must at least fully restart your computer before connecting to the server in order to be considered clean.

  • Refusing to follow the instructions of the checker or the staff will lead to a ban for refusing the check.

  • The person checking you does not have to show you the proof that justifies the check.

  • The person checking you must have proof in order to check you. A large number of anti-cheat logs or a recording are enough.

Sanction: 60-day ban for cheating / 30 days if you confess before the check starts / 60 days for refusing the check.

4. Notes

Refund requests

  • Any refund request (after losing gear or items) MUST come with video proof (ONLY video).
  • Human errors are not refunded.
  • If the inventory is not visible, only the gear visible in the recordings will be refunded.

Faction lead

  • If a faction's leader is banned, an officer of the faction will be given the lead.
  • If there is no officer, a member will be chosen (with the leader's agreement).

Complicity

  • If you take part with someone in breaking the rules, you are an accomplice and will be sanctioned in the same way.

Duplication

  • If you are in a place where duplication was carried out, or if you know about it and do not report it, you will be treated as a duplicator and banned.
  • The same goes if you own a home where duplication happened.

Discord

  • If you refuse to come on the Discord despite several warnings (warn/kick), a permanent ban will be applied until you show up.

Sanction evasion

  • Getting around a sanction automatically leads to a heavier sanction.

Harassment

  • Harassment is condemned in all its forms.
  • Senior staff may take any element into account to clarify the situation.

Tickets

  • Any ticket that does not follow the rules, is disrespectful, or has excessive pings will be closed.
  • A mute of several days may be added if it happens again or depending on what was said.

Player events

  • Player events are allowed in game, but must not require any action from the staff.
  • No advertising on the official Linesia server without permission.
  • If things get out of hand, the event organisers will be held responsible and sanctioned.

Lending your account

  • If you lend your account, you are responsible for the consequences.
  • An account is personal and must not be shared.

Blackmail about the rules

  • Blackmail about the rules may be sanctioned with a ban decided by senior staff (HS).
