🏜️Quarries

/fouille (or /carriere) opens the map of the 25 quarries. Job: Digger. Tool: the evolving shovel.

How it works

Like the mines, each quarry has a cube, but made of sand, dirt and gravel. Dig through it: inside are hidden deposits of iron, emerald, amethyst, ruby and onyx, and rarer nodules.

• Urns and jars are full of coins: break them.
• Earthworms come out as you dig (about one hit in six). They're the bait for fishing.
• As it levels up, the shovel gains finds (worms, flint, gold nuggets, then ruby fragments) and excavation, which digs 3×3 then 5×5.

Quarries and mines share the same map: a button at the bottom switches between the two.
