💱Trading
/trade opens the trading menu. Everything goes through the server: nobody holds the other's goods.
Trading with a player
/trade <name> (or pick them in the menu) opens a safe exchange.
- Each player puts in their items and can add money to their offer. The two offers are shown side by side.
- The exchange happens when both have confirmed.
- Any change to an offer removes the confirmations: no swapping an item at the last moment.
What else the menu does
- Order an onyx piece (
/trade commande): pick a player who has the job, the piece and the price. Your ingots and your money are held by the server: if they forge it, the piece comes to you and the money goes to them. If they refuse or don't answer within 5 minutes, everything comes back to you. - Hand over a claim (
/trade ceder): the title deed of the claim you're standing in, to put in a trade. See claims. - Write a gem cheque (
/trade chequeor/cheque): gems as an item, to put in a trade. A/pay-gemsis a gift: to trade gems, use a cheque.
Why use it
The rules allow scams outside of trades, except for AP trades, armour crafts, gem transfers and ranks. Trading is your real protection: use it for any exchange with someone you don't know.
To just send money: /pay <name> <amount>.
⚠️ Selling or buying in-game items for real money, or for items from another server, is forbidden.
