Privacy Policy

The data controller is Rémy Grisollet, a French sole trader operating under the trading name Linesia Studios (SIREN 107 509 465), 1 rue Marguerin, 75014 Paris, France. For any question about your data: support@linesia.net.

• Linesia account: depending on the method you choose, e-mail address and password (stored only as a hash, never in clear text), Microsoft/Xbox identifier (XUID) and Gamertag, Discord identifier and username; your Minecraft name and XUID upon character linking; for each open session, the sign-in method, IP address and browser, so that you can see and close your connected devices.
• Staff account: it is the same account; access to the administration panel is derived from your rank and these identities.
• Game data: statistics, progression, ranks and sanctions, associated with your name/XUID.
• Store and accounting: game name needed for delivery, Tebex transaction identifier, products, amounts, currency and status. We retain only a minimised version of webhooks, without the customer's name, address, email or IP. Card data is processed by Tebex and is never sent to us.
• Support: information provided in tickets and e-mails (name, contact, request content).
• Technical data: strictly necessary session cookies and connection logs (IP address, timestamp) for security purposes.
• Measuring our ads: on the linesia.net/jouer page, the campaign you came from (utm parameters), the device type, the buttons used and an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address, without cookies. The fingerprint is only used to know whether the visit led to a first connection to the server. On a partner creator's page (linesia.net/c/…), the Minecraft name you leave to receive their gift, and that account's playtime, to know how many players they brought (the creator only sees figures, never your name).

We only use session cookies strictly necessary for the website to function (linesia_player_session, linesia_staff_session). No advertising cookies or third-party trackers are placed; no prior consent is therefore required for these essential cookies.

• provide, maintain and secure the Services;
• authenticate users and link web and in-game accounts;
• manage the store, orders and support;
• combat cheating, fraud and abuse;
• measure how well our ads work;
• comply with our legal obligations.

Processing relies, depending on the case, on the performance of the contract (provision of the Services), our legitimate interest (security, anti-cheat, service improvement), compliance with legal obligations and, where applicable, your consent.

Your data is accessible to the authorized Linesia team and to our technical processors, only to the extent necessary:

• Microsoft / Xbox Live and Discord — authentication;
• Tebex — payment and store sales;
• our server host — storage and execution.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

Your data is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes described, then deleted or anonymised; the IP address fingerprint from the /jouer page is erased after 7 days. As an exception, ledgers, invoices, credit notes, statements and evidence required for accounting and tax compliance are retained for the applicable statutory period, generally ten years. An erasure request therefore cannot cover data still required by law or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise them, write to support@linesia.net. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

The Server is aimed at a broad audience. Minors' Microsoft accounts are managed through Microsoft Family parental controls. If you believe a minor has provided us with data without parental authorization, contact us for its deletion.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures (encrypted connections, restricted access, hashed passwords) to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the Services or to applicable regulations. The last update date appears at the top of this page.
