📖Enchantments

Enchantments are bought with money, with the item in hand: /menu then Enchantment, or the enchanting table ($1,000 at the shop).

There is no randomness: you pick the enchantment and the level, you pay, it is applied. There are no books either, and Minecraft experience levels are useless.

I$100$200$100$100$1,000
II$200$400$200$200$2,500
III$400$700$500$400
IV$700$1,000$800
V$1,500$1,000

You pay the price of the target level, not the sum of all levels. Going straight from nothing to Protection IV costs $700.

An item already enchanted at or above the target level is refused.

What they do

  • Protection removes 2.8 % of damage per level, applied after armour, capped at 45 %. Protection IV on all four pieces is calibrated to cancel exactly one enemy Sharpness V. See the damage and armour curve.
  • Sharpness adds 0.5 damage per level.
  • Unbreaking gives a chance of not consuming durability equal to level / (level + 1): 50 % at level 1, 67 % at level 2, 75 % at level 3.
  • Efficiency speeds up block breaking.
  • Punch increases arrow knockback.

Fortune

Fortune is built into tools according to their material, from 0 on diamond to 3 on onyx. It cannot be bought or added.
