/trade <name> opens a secure exchange between two players.
How it works
Both players put their items into a shared window. Each sees live what the other is offering. The exchange only completes when both have confirmed, and any change after confirming cancels the confirmations.
Nobody can pull an item afterwards or walk off with both halves.
Why use it
The rules are clear: scamming is allowed outside of trade, except in three specific cases (base swaps, armour crafts and ranks). Trade is therefore your only real protection on everything else.
For money, two safe alternatives:
/pay <name> <amount>transfers directly./cash <amount>creates a physical note, tradeable like any other item.
What does not go through trade
- Items listed at the auction house stay the safest way to sell to a stranger.
- The rules forbid trading items for real money or for items from another server, on pain of a 999 day ban.
