🤺Duels
Duelling is the only PvP outside the warzone: two players, a dedicated arena, no risk to your inventory.
/duel <name> sends an invite, /duel accept <name> accepts it. The full menu opens with /duel.
How it runs
- The invite stays valid for 60 seconds.
- Both players are teleported into a free arena.
- A 5 second countdown starts.
- The fight lasts at most 5 minutes. With no winner by then, it is a draw.
- Three seconds after the end, everyone goes back where they were.
The same gear option
When sending the invite you can ask for a same gear duel. The server then compares both sets piece by piece, enchantments included, and refuses to start the fight while they differ. It lists up to six lines of differences so you know what to change.
The rules
- Damage between the two duellists does not count toward the general combat tag or PvP points.
- Dying in a duel loses you nothing.
- Disconnecting mid duel counts as forfeiting.
- How many duels can run at once depends on how many arenas are configured. With no free arena, you wait.
Why bother
Winning duels counts toward a prestige quest: 50 wins give a level.
