Fishing on Linesia is a timing mini-game with 7 fish species, 4 sizes, and rare treasures up for grabs.

🪱 Equipment

• Fishing rod (384 uses) — for fishing in water.
• Ruby fishing rod (512 uses, crafted with Ruby/Onyx) — for fishing in lava!
• Earthworms — 1 worm is consumed per cast. Get them from the Seed Planter (50% chance per planting) or from the NPC.

🎮 The mini-game

1. Cast your line and wait for a bite (0.5 to 1.5 s).
2. When you get a bite, you have 3-4 seconds to react: a bar appears with a moving cursor.
3. Click at the right moment:

Each catch has a random size (unlocked by level), which multiplies the sale price:

💰 Selling and progressing

• Sell your fish at the shop — keep size in mind (a Huge fish is worth 4× the base price!).
• Fishing levels up the Fisherman job (level 25 reward: crafting the Onyx Chestplate) and your fishstreak counts toward prestiges.
• Fishing on your faction island gives 2 farm points per fish.
• During the Heavy Rain event, all catches are doubled.
