SkyFaction, the mode that mixes Skyblock and Factions
SkyFaction means an island for your faction and a warzone to fight in. How it works, who it's for, and where to play it on Minecraft Bedrock.

SkyFaction is two Minecraft server modes stuck together. Skyblock to build and farm in peace on your island. Factions to fight alongside your team against the others. Each feeds the other: what you farm on the island helps you win in the warzone.
Skyblock in a nutshell
Skyblock started as a single-player map in 2011: you begin on a tiny island floating in the void, with a tree and a chest, and you have to build everything from there. Servers took the idea and gave every player an island, with an economy and leaderboards. There's more about it in our Skyblock guide.
The appeal: you progress at your own pace, and nobody comes to wreck everything.
Factions in a nutshell
On a Factions server, you build a team, set up your base on the map, and take on the other teams. There's PvP, alliances, betrayals, events where you have to hold a point.
The appeal: the adrenaline, playing as a group, the ranking between factions. We have a guide to getting started in Factions.
What SkyFaction changes
On a classic Factions server, you farm where people can attack you. If you get killed, you lose your gear and often your motivation. On a classic Skyblock server, not much happens once your island is up and running.
SkyFaction splits the two:
- Your faction's island is safe. No PvP, it's your own world. That's where you put your farms, your generators, your builds.
- The warzone is the shared map where everyone can fight. That's where you earn points for your faction, hold events and make a name for yourself.
The result: a new player can progress calmly on their faction's island, and head into the warzone when they feel ready. And the big PvP players always have a reason to go there.

A typical evening
To give you an idea, here's what an evening on a SkyFaction server looks like:
- You stop by the island to harvest what has grown and sell it.
- You level up a job or two in the server's farming areas.
- You buy gear with what you earned.
- An event starts in the warzone. Your faction meets up there.
- You win points, or you lose your gear. Back at it tomorrow.
Who is it for?
Players who like building and fighting. If you only want PvP, a KitPvP server gets you there faster. If you never want to run into anyone, a solo Skyblock map is enough. SkyFaction is for people who want both, often playing with friends.
Playing SkyFaction on Linesia
Linesia is a Minecraft Bedrock server from France built around SkyFaction, and the game is available in English. Your faction has its island, with crops, trees and generators. You level up your jobs and your prestige. And in the warzone, factions fight over events like Domination, Outpost or the Nexus.
You can play on PC, phone, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch, everyone together.
Frequently asked questions
Is SkyFaction the same as Skyblock?
No. Skyblock is mostly farming on your island. SkyFaction keeps the island but adds factions and a warzone where you fight.
Can you get attacked on your island?
On Linesia, no: PvP is turned off on faction islands. Fights happen in the warzone and in duels.
Do you need a faction to play?
Your faction is what gives you your island. You can create one alone, start one with your friends, or get invited into a faction that's already going.
